What are some benefits of buying a pre-owned car?

Not quite ready for a new car? Buying a pre-owned vehicle from us is a great option. We only stock pre-owned models that meet our high standards for quality and safety, which means you never have to worry about buying pre-owned from us. In fact, each pre-owned vehicle has to pass a safety inspection from our certified technicians before it is listed for sale. Our pre-owned models have already experienced their initial depreciation and are priced affordably. You’ll also have your choice of a variety of makes, models, body styles and trims when you shop our pre-owned inventory.

What are some benefits of driving an all-electric vehicle?

Electric vehicles, or EVs, have taken the world by storm, and the all-electric Volkswagen ID.4 is no exception. This SUV has won the hearts of VW enthusiasts and newcomers alike since its first introduction, and if you’re ready to go all-electric, the ID.4 is a great choice. Driving an EV comes with many benefits, including the ability to skip the fuel pump entirely and be free from ever-changing gas prices. EVs also cost less to maintain, as they don’t need traditional engine services (such as oil changes). You can charge an EV with a home charging box (which can be easily installed in your garage by an electrician) or at a public charging station. The 2023 ID.4 has an EPA-estimated range of 275 miles,2 so you won’t have to stop often to charge as you travel in your EV. And to top it all off, your vehicle will produce zero tailpipe emissions, helping dramatically reduce your carbon footprint. More Volkswagen EVs are planned for 2024, including the ID. Buzz and ID.7, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds.

Service & Parts FAQs

Why should I bring my car to a dealership for service?

Our team knows Volkswagen vehicles inside and out, and they complete regular training so they’re up-to-date on the latest technology and equipment. This means you can be confident that your ride is in good hands. Plus, having your Volkswagen serviced at our dealership will also help you keep your warranty intact (if it is still active). We’ll only use genuine OEM parts on your Volkswagen in order to keep it a Volkswagen, inside and out. Don’t own a Volkswagen? That’s fine — we service many makes and models. From minor maintenance to major repairs, our team can handle it. Our service bay is equipped with advanced diagnostic tools that allow our techs to assess and resolve your vehicle’s issues as quickly as possible. If your model is ready for service, schedule your appointment on our website today.

How often should I have my vehicle’s oil changed?

It used to be common knowledge that you should have your vehicle’s oil changed every 3,000 miles, but times have changed. Thanks to engine innovations in recent years, oil changes are now recommended every 7,500 miles to 10,000 miles. However, you should always refer to your owner’s manual to find the service schedule for your specific model. Once you visit our service department for an oil change, our team will put a small sticker in the corner of your windshield that reminds you when you’ll need to have your oil changed again.

When should I replace my car’s tires?

We have a simple trick that you can use to find out if it’s time for a new set of tires. Just grab a penny and insert it in one of the grooves of your tire with Lincoln going in head-first. If you can see the top of his head, your tread has worn down to the point that you need a replacement tire. Visit us for tire replacements, rotations and wheel balancing — we’ll be happy to help!

If you have any other questions, don’t hesitate to give us a call, contact us online or stop by Volkswagen Eugene at 89320 N. Game Farm Road, Eugene, OR 97408 to speak to a member of our team in person. We look forward to serving our customers from Springfield, Salem, Roseburg and Albany.
